When Should I Arrive?
Faith’s Sunday school classes begin at 9:30 AM, and the church service starts at 10:45 AM. There is a Sunday school class for all ages! Refreshments are available before Sunday school, so feel free to arrive early, grab a beverage, and enjoy the fellowship.
If you have children, we have a great children’s ministry during the church service for children up to the 3rd grade. It would be wise to arrive at least 15 minutes prior to the start of the morning worship service (by 10:30 AM) in order to get your children situated in the nursery or Lighthouse Cove (the children’s ministry). The easiest way to access the nursery and children’s ministries is through the north doors of the church (those doors face Route 2). There is ample parking in the rear of the church.
How Should I Dress?
You may dress in a way that makes you feel comfortable. Some of our people will come in a suit and tie, while others will dress more casually. We believe God is more concerned with what is in your heart than what is on your back. The most important thing for you to know is that you will be accepted as you are.
What’s available for my children?
We want our church to be a place that will minister to your entire family. We have a high-quality nursery program for children under the age of 2. We have very dedicated children’s workers who are with the 2 & 3 year-olds during the Sunday school hour and the worship service. This helps the smaller children feel more secure in the church.
Our Discovery Island program seeks to energize children to discover life-changing truths from God’s Word. It meets from 9:30-10:30 AM and is for children Age 4 – 6th grade.
Our Lighthouse Cove program meets during the worship service. It continues to grow and currently serves children from age 4 through 3rd grade. It’s goal is to present the truths of God’s Word at a level that these children can understand.
What should I expect when I visit Faith?
We want to provide you a place of escape where you can unplug from the busy world, hear from God, and be encouraged by His people. Our services are not on the cutting edge of what is “contemporary”, nor are they moored in what is considered “traditional”. Musically, about 80% of the songs we sing are considered current/contemporary worship songs, and about 20% are traditional hymns/choruses.
Our service is centered on hearing from God’s Word. You’ll receive a helpful outline of the message, which will include biblical references and room to take notes. We strive to make God’s Word relevant to your life. Feel free to bring a Bible and learn together with others just like you. The pastor uses the New American Standard Bible (N.A.S.), but you may bring a version with which you are most comfortable. Each message is recorded and available on this web site. You are more than welcome to download and listen to as many as you would like; they will give you a taste of what you can expect when you come to Faith.
How do I find the church?
